The stepless, no noise, comfortable backrest tilts up to 70 deg, and the complete electric adjustment of the lower leg system, up to 28deg aids venous return. The tilting mattress mechanism has a footside inclination of 16deg creating a comfortable seating position for improved communication or watching television. An easy quick pin release can lower the bed manually in the event of a sudden loss of power.
